Do I need to have my camera & microphone plugged in?

Yes, although it is not mandatory, we highly suggest that you have your camera & microphone set-up once the event is live. Recruiters may invite you to a video call.

We provide our own video calling feature on the website itself. During an event, you could get invited to a virtual meeting thus you will need a supported device with a functional webcam and microphone, and an internet connection. Many computers have a built-in webcam and microphone; you can also use an external webcam and microphone. When a recruiter invites you to a video call, you will get a message in the top right corner of your screen.  Click join call.  You will be asked to accept your microphone and camera usage.  Please make sure to accept or your camera and mic will not work.
