How does a Premier Virtual Event work?

Registration, Enter Lobby, Enter Booth, Chat/Video, Follow Up


  • Each Premier Virtual event is separate and will require registration. You many hear about events in a number of different ways including online advertising, email, or even specific invite only from an event host.
  • Once you have registered for an event, the event will show up in the "Events" area of your dashboard profile. 
  • Once the event time has started the event will open for you to enter the lobby.  Once in the lobby, the event host may have set up categories that companies will fall into. If no categories are used you will just see the companies displayed in the lobby.
  • You may also use the search feature on the top event navigation. From here you can search for specific jobs, job categories, or location. 
  • Once you see the organizations, you can click on a logo and go into the company's booth.
  • Once in a booth, you will be able to see a companies "About Us", Job Postings (with ability to submit your resume/apply). The company may also offer other links they think you find valuable, as well as their own social media. 
  • If you have additional questions or would like to chat with a representative/recruiter rom the company, you may start a chat on the right side of the screen. If for any reason you don't get a response from a company in a timely matter, you may exit the booth and explore other companies. Your chat will stay active and if the company responds you will see the message show up. You can continue chats with all companies from anywhere within the event. However once you exit the event, you will not see any new chats. 
  • You may also see an option to Book a Time with a Recruiter. This will allow you to schedule a specific meeting time with a recruiter. If you don't see this option in the booth, don't worry, you can still chat live with that company at that moment. 
  • Once chatting with a company, if that representative/recruiter would like to upgrade that text chat to a video chat, they can send you a video chat invite. If this happens, you will receive a notification to join a video call. Just accept the invite and now you will be directed to the video call. 
  • Finally, once you have visited with every organization you are interested in, you may feel free to exit the event.
  • Your "My Journey" will allow you to see every action you took during your event.

    • Resumes Submitted
    • Organization's status of your interaction
